FDM internships involve a variety of tasks where interns will gain experience and an understanding of the luxury Lingerie, Swim, and RTW markets. Our studio is a collaborative team where all members work together to support our mutual growth. We will provide the candidate with experience and knowledge in many aspects of operating a small, but fast-growing company. You will have the opportunity to work with several Departments including Sales, E-commerce, Marketing/Social Media, Production, and Design.
Duration
- 3 - 6 Months Full-Time or Part-Time (2-3 full days required)
Responsibilities
- Maintain showroom appearance
- Work with Studio and PR coordinator on press pulls for top publications, celebrity stylists, and bloggers.
- Maintain Press Tracking doc and help keep the process organized on a daily basis
- Track press placements and manage press credits
- Assist in setting up for press previews and shopping events
- Work with the e-commerce team on photoshoots - prepping samples, updating shot list, and checking in looks after shoot
- Track and report on social media initiatives
- Research and update social influencer database
- Take ownership of sample closet organization
- Some admin assistant responsibilities including travel planning, expenses, and special projects
- Keep track and monitor customer return and exchange request
- Assist Customer Service team with customer inquiries via phone and email
- Manage in-studio inventory - receiving merchandise, sending to the warehouse and pop-up
- Assist Client Relations team with clienteling and VIP customer needs
Qualifications
- Highly organized and extremely detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities on a daily basis
- Ability to work independently and follow up on tasks assigned
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in an Administrative Assistant position is a plus
- Retail experience is a plus
- Based in New York
Compensation
- Receiving school credit is offered but not required
