Are silk pieces washable?

We recommend dry cleaning silk charmeuse to keep the shiny finish. Silk charmeuse can be hand washed, however the shiny finish will become duller. For silk georgette and crepe de chine pieces, we recommend hand washing with the a silk or delicate wash and then laying flat to dry before steaming.
