As the RTW Product Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the RTW development process, as well as bridging development and production for each season's pass off. You will be joining our passionate and close-knit team. Working hands-on with Creative and Technical Designers actively collaborating on achieving exquisite craftsmanship. As a key player to an iconic brand, you also will have the opportunity to see your work showcased daily through various platforms.
Responsibilities:
Supporting Senior Designer daily with launching protos and sms samples overseas and locally.
Ensuring that all techpack details are executed correctly by the factory and available to answer any questions by the factories.
Daily communication with local and overseas vendors.
Responsible for overseeing trim and embellishment developments overseas.
Attend collection key milestones. Ensuring all protos are in house for key fittings.
Attend all proto Fittings and ensure any trim and fabric changes are updated in development
BOMS as well as communicated with factories.
SMS review and Lead BOM pass-off with production
Fabric alignment and ensuring all FDS’ are retrieved and correct for each season
Maintaining BOM’s throughout the development process
Partner with Design, Tech and Production to ensure all pricing tech-packs are finalized accurately.
Updating BOM’s if any design changes after SMS pass-off.
Point person with the factories to answer any development BOM questions they might have
Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, providing clear communication
Qualifications:
Exceptional attention to details and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving and a sense of urgency required.
3-4 years of experience in Product development required in RTW.
Proficiency in PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel required.
Candidates must have technical capability and strong product knowledge of apparel construction and production to confidently influence decisions.
Additional Details:
Full-Time | Typically 4 days per week in-office and Friday's typically can be worked remotely
Annual Salary | $70,000 - $75,000 based on experience
